Statement of Faith

This page gives an overview of what I presently believe in. This serves as my Statement of Faith. I did my best to keep this as short, simple, and straight as possible.

If you are a family, relative, friend, and/or neighbour, and you are shocked about this, feel free to ask me and I will answer your questions to the best of the knowledge that our Creator Father 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHŌAH/YaHōWaH) has provided.

Notes

  • The “Literal English Version” or “LEV” used ישוע (pronunciation: yeh-shua; transliteration: Yeshua) in the Shelihim Writings because it is what was literally written in the “New Testament”/”Renewed Covenant” manuscripts. I chose the original, unshortened form in Paleo-Hebrew script — 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (יהושוע) (pronunciation: yah-ō-shua; transliteration: Yahōshua) — which is still within the LEV’s allowances.
  • I use “YAHowan”, “Hebrew Israelite-Natsari”, “Israelite-Natsari”, “Natsari”, “Israelite faith”, “The Way”, “Messianic”, “Apostolic”, and/or “Apostolic-Christianity”, interchangeably across this site and elsewhere; and in that order of preference. While “Denominational-Christianity” is what we commonly know as “Christianity”, “Protestant”, “Born-Again”, “Pentecostal”, “Christendom”, and/or “Catholic”.

Concise

  1. I am a Hebrew Israelite-Natsari (plural: Natsarim), a follower of the Way, as spoken of by the Prophets and in the Shelihim Writings (a.k.a. New Testament or the Renewed Covenant). His name is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (pronunciation: yah-ō-shua; transliteration: Yahōshua; also read: Messiah’s Name: Yahōshua or Yahusha?).
    • I no longer identify myself with “Christianity” (herein referred to as “Denominational-Christianity” or “Christendom” or “Catholic”) because it is not the same as the “Christians” of the Apostles (herein referred to as “YAHowan”, “Hebrew Israelite-Natsari”, “Israelite-Natsari”, “Natsari”, “Israelite faith”, “The Way”, “Messianic”, “Apostolic”, and/or “Apostolic-Christianity”).
      Denominational-Christianity was:
      • Founded by those who disagreed with Peter, Paul, and the Jerusalem Council
      • Formalised by Emperor Constantine and the bishops, among others, and solidified during the Council of Nicaea
    • I am not a Protestant (protesting against the Vatican or the Roman Catholic Church)
    • I am not a Catholic (universal faith), believers in Replacement Theology
  2. I believe in Salvation as taught by Kepha (Peter) in Acts 2:38 and by Sha’ul (Paul) in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, that it is by believing, baptism in water in the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (Yahōshua), and receiving the Set-Apart Ruah (Holy Spirit), that we are first saved. From there we have to work on our salvation, as there is no “once saved, always saved” teaching in the Scripture.
  3. I believe we should obey the Torah of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (pronounced as “yah-ō-ah”; transliterated as “YAHŌAH”, “YaHōWaH”, or “YHWH”) but not the traditions of men or any [religious] traditions.
  4. The true name of the Messiah is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (Yahōshua). A Hebrew name. He came in His Father’s name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHŌAH/YaHōWaH), not only by authority and power but literally. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (Yahōshua) means “𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHŌAH/YaHōWaH) is [my] Salvation”.
  5. I believe we should observe and practice the 7 Appointed Times of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHŌAH/YaHōWaH).
    • We should not observe nor participate in any feasts in the Gregorian calendar or those declared by the State/government. These are not in the Scripture and is forbidden.
    • We should not observe birthdays as this is a self-centric celebration.
    • We should not observe anniversaries that does not glorify YAH.
  6. I believe that we should observe the true 7th Day Sabbath as revealed and instructed in the Scripture, based on the luni-solar calendar (herein referred to as the “Scriptural Calendar”; it is also important to note that it is not and is different from the “lunar calendar”).
  7. I believe in Remnant Theology, that we, the Natsarim, were grafted into the Olive Tree of Israel and has become part of and citizen of the Israel of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHŌAH/YaHōWaH).

Detailed

The Scripture is our final and sole authority

16Every Scripture is breathed out by Elohim, profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of Elohim may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Timotheus (2 Timothy) 3:16-17 [LEV]

Aluahim is ONE. There is NO other besides Him.

“Hear, O Yisra’el: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is our Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is one.”

Debarim (Deuteronomy) 6:4 [LEV]

The Torah was NOT nailed on the cross

Whatever thing I command you, that you shall guard to do: you shall not add to it, nor remove from it.

Debarim (Deuteronomy) 12:32 [LEV]

for I give you good teaching. Do not forsake my Torah.

Mishlei (Proverbs) 4:2 [LEV]

If you love Me, you will guard My commands.

Yahochanon (John) 14:15 [LEV]

17“Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one yod or one stroke shall pass from the Torah until all is accomplished. 19Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commands, and teaches others the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whoever keeps and teaches, he shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens.

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 5:17-18 [LEV]

20They, when they heard it, glorified Elohim. They said to him, “You see, brother, how many tens of thousands there are among the Yehudim of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the Torah. 21They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Yehudim who are among the nations to forsake Mosheh, telling them not to circumcise their children neither to walk after the customs. 22What then? They will certainly hear that you have come.

23“Therefore do what we tell you. We have four men who have taken a vow. 24Take them, and purify yourself with them, and pay their expenses for them, that they may shave their heads. Then all will know that there is no truth in the things that they have been informed about you, but that you yourself also walk guarding the Torah. 25But concerning the nations who believe, we have written our decision; they should guard themselves from things slaughtered to idols, from blood, from strangled things, and from whoring.

26Then Sha’ul took the men, and the next day, purified himself and went with them into the Temple, declaring the fulfillment of the days of purificiation, until the offering was offered for every one of them.

Ma’aseh (Acts) 21:20-26 [LEV]

Do we then nullify law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish law.

Romaious (Romans) 3:31 [LEV]

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I would not have known sin, except through the law. For I would not have known coveting, unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”

Romaious (Romans) 7:7 [LEV]

Therefore the law indeed is set-apart, and the command set-apart, and righteous, and good.

Romaious (Romans) 7:12 [LEV]

Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

1 Yahochanon (1 John) 3:4 [LEV]

3For this is loving Elohim, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not burdensome. 4For all that is brought forth of Elohim overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.

1 Yahochanon (1 John) 5:3-4 [LEV]

The 7th Day Sabbath is an everlasting covenant. The identity of His true children.

So the children of Yisra’el shall guard the Sabbath, to celebrate the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.

Shemot (Exodus) 31:16 [LEV]

2And in the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He ceased on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3Then Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because in it He ceased from all His work which Elohim, in creating, had made.

Bereshith (Genesis) 2:2-3 [LEV]

13“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My set-apart day; and call the Sabbath a delight, and the set-apart of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 honorable; and shall honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words: 14then you shall delight yourself in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄; and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth; and I will feed you with the heritage of Ya’aqov your father:” for the mouth of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 has spoken it.

Yashayahu (Isaiah) 58:13-14 [LEV]

“For the Son of Man is Master of the Sabbath.”

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 12:8 [LEV]

For whoever guards the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

Ya’aqov (James) 2:10 [LEV]

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (modern Hebrew: יהוה) (YAHŌAH/YaHōWaH) never changes and is eternal.

“For I, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, do not change; therefore you, sons of Ya’aqov, are not consumed.”

Malakhi (Malachi) 3:6 [LEV]

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 Messiah is the same yesterday, today, and to the ages.

Ivrim (Hebrews) 13:8 [LEV]

“For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one yod or one stroke shall pass from the Torah until all is accomplished.”

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 5:18 [LEV]

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.”

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 24:35 [LEV]

The Great Commission

[19“Having gone, therefore, make talmidim of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Set-apart Ruah, 20teaching them to guard all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the completion of the age.”]

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 28:19 [LEV]

The Gospel; Keys to Salvation; and Baptism

Kepha said to them, “Repent, and be immersed, every one of you, in the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Set-apart Ruah.”

Ma’aseh (Acts) 2:38 [LEV]

1Now I declare to you, brothers, the good news which I proclaimed to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, 2by which also you are being saved, if you hold firmly the word which I proclaimed to you—unless you believed in vain. 3For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Messiah died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

1 Korinthious (1 Corinthians) 15:1-4 [LEV]

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (modern Hebrew: יהושוע) (Yahōshua) is the ONE and ONLY Messiah of Israel and the world

12But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name: 13who have not been born of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Elohim. 14And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. We saw His glory, glory as of an only begotten with a father, full of favor and truth.

Yahochanon (John) 1:12-14 [LEV]

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (Yahōshua) the Messiah is the final and ultimate Passover Lamb

Yashayahu (Isaiah) 53 [LEV]

9that if you will confess with your mouth that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 is Master, and believe in your heart that Elohim raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For in the heart man believes unto righteousness; and in the mouth is confession unto salvation. 11For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”

Romaious (Romans) 10:9-11 [LEV]

Purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Messiah, our Pesah, has been slaughtered [in our place].

1 Korinthious (1 Corinthians) 5:7 [LEV]

The Renewed/New Covenant in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (Yahōshua) the Messiah

31“Behold, the days come,” says 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Yisra’el, and with the house of Yehudah: 32not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim; which covenant of Mine they broke, although I was an owner to them,” says 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

33“But this is the covenant that I will cut with the house of Yisra’el after those days,” says 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄: I will put My Torah in their inward parts, and I will write it in their heart. I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My people. 34They will no longer each teach his neighbor, and every man teach his brother, saying, ‘Know 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄;’ for they will all know Me, from their least to their greatest,” says 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄: “for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:31-34 [LEV]

“‘I will not hide My face from them anymore; for I have poured out My Ruah on the house of Yisra’el,’ says Adonai 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.”

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 39:29 [LEV]

Gifts of the Set-apart Ruah

“If you then, being wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Set-apart Ruah to those who ask him?”

Lukas (Luke) 11:13 [LEV]

4Being assembled together with them, He commanded them, “Do not depart from Yerushalayim, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from Me. 5For Yahochanon indeed immersed in water, but you will be immersed in the Set-apart Ruah not many days from now.”

Ma’aseh (Acts) 1:4-5 [LEV]

They were all filled with the Set-apart Ruah, and began to speak other languages, as the Ruah gave them the ability to speak.

Ma’aseh (Acts) 2:4 [LEV]

“We are witnesses of these things; and so also is the Set-apart Ruah, whom Elohim has given to those who obey Him.”

Ma’aseh (Acts) 5:32 [LEV]

1Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. 2You know that when you were heathen, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led. 3Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by the Ruah of Elohim says, “𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 is accursed.” No one can say, “𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 is Master,” but by the Set-apart Ruah. 4Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Ruah.

5There are various kinds of service, and the same Master. 6There are various kinds of workings, but the same Elohim, who works all things in all. 7But to each one is given the manifestation of the Ruah for the profit of all. 8For to one is given through the Ruah the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Ruah; 9to another faith, by the same Ruah; and to another gifts of healings, by the one Ruah; 10and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. 11But the one and the same Ruah produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as He desires.

12For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Messiah. 13For in one Ruah we were all immersed into one body, whether Yehudim or Greeks, whether bondservants or free; and were all given to drink of one Ruah.

1 Korinthious (1 Corinthians) 12:1-13 [LEV]

In Him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the good news of your salvation—-in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Set-apart Ruah.

Ephesious (Ephesians) 1:13 [LEV]

Faith without works is dead

14What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith, but has no works? Can that faith save him? 15If a brother or sister is naked and lacking of daily food, 16and one of you tells them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled”; and yet you did not give them the things the body needs, what good is it? 17Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. 18Yes, a man will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without the works, and I will show you the faith from my works.

19You believe there is one Elohim. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder. 20But do you want to know, vain man, that faith apart from works is dead? 21Was Avraham our father not declared right from works, in that he offered up Yitshaq his son on the altar? 22You see that faith worked with his works, and from works faith was perfected; 23and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Avraham believed Elohim, and it was accounted to him as righteousness;” and he was called the friend of Elohim. 24You see then that from works a man is declared right, and not only from faith. 25In the same way, was Rahav the whore not also declared right from works, in that she received the messengers, and sent them out another way? 26For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.

Ya’aqov (James) 2:14-26 [LEV]

The Fruit of the Set-apart Ruah

22But the fruit of the Ruah is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Galatas (Galatians) 5:22-23 [LEV]

The assembly, the bride, is a chosen people, a set-apart nation, priests of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHŌAH/YaHōWaH) declaring the besorah (message) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (Yahōshua) to the dark world.

Vayiqra (Leviticus) 23 [LEV]

“‘and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a set-apart nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the children of Yisra’el.”

Shemot (Exodus) 19:6 [LEV]

“I also say to you that you are petros, and upon this Petra I will build My assembly; and the gates of Sheol will not overpower it.

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 16:18 [LEV]

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a people for the possession of Elohim, that you may proclaim the excellence of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

1 Kefa (1 Peter) 2:9 [LEV]

Salvation comes by Obeying His Torah and is NOT a one-time seal. We need to be:

Full of love and care for everyone by bringing the Gospel to the world

34“A renewed command I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. 35By this everyone will know that you are My talmidim, if you have love for one another.”

Yahochanon (John) 13:34-35 [LEV]

For I am not ashamed of the good news, because it is the power of Elohim for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Yehudite first, and also for the Greek.

Romaious (Romans) 1:16 [LEV]

Clean, inside and out

Create in me a clean heart, O Elohim. Renew a right spirit within me.

Tehillim (Psalms) 51:10 [LEV]

For Elohim called us not for uncleanness, but in setting apart.

1 Thessalonikeis (1 Thessalonians) 4:7 [LEV]

Mature in Faith

until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah;

Ephesious (Ephesians) 4:13 [LEV]

Righteous

instructing us to the intent that, denying wickedness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and devoutly in this present age;

Titus 2:12 [LEV]

Set-Apart

44“‘For I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Elohim. Set yourselves apart therefore, and be set-apart, for I am set-apart. And you shall not make yourselves unclean with any of the swarming things that swarm on the earth. 45For I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 who brought you up from the land of Mitsrayim to be your Elohim; thus you shall be set-apart, for I am set-apart.'”

Vayiqra (Leviticus) 11:44-45 [LEV]

that He might present the assembly to Himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be set-apart and without defect.

Ephesious (Ephesians) 5:27 [LEV]

I believe in the Resurrection of those who accepted and followed 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 (Yahōshua) and obeyed 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHŌAH/YaHōWaH) will receive the reward of eternal life

Revelation 19-22 [LEV]
